Default Garage door
A garage door installer is claiming that they will be using break proof springs on the instalation of a new garage door and therefore the use of safety cables is not required.

Does anyone have information on this?

The garage door installer does............................. Excuse me Sir, may I see the documents that support your claim

No such thing... given the right conditions, everything breaks.

Now, I have heard of "spring-less" garage doors... maybe this is what he meant?
