HEY GUYS—WHAT IS THE RULE ABOUT HAVING THE GAS METER IN THE BASEMENT—THIS HOUSE WAS BUILT IN THE MID TO LATE 30’S. THE SHUT OFF VALVE IS IN THE BASEMENT ALSO.:shock:

like that here all over.
See if there’s a vent leading from the pressure guage to the outside. Any excess would head out through this vent.

Exactly, it need to be vented to the exterior.
