Default what kind of flashing, if any?
1981 build wood siding and porch cover addition transition. should counterflashing be installed and exposed?

Is it base and ctr flashing? Does the flashing need to be exposed 1" min?

You mean leaves are not considered flashing.

It is not a deck but the same kind of flashing would help!
