I am not a lover of steel roofs as too many are installed incorrectly .
Also many buy the steel wholesale not knowing they are getting too light a steel .
I have seen many that have taken the Gutters of with out avalanche guards .
Saw a Mercedes that had $15,000:00 damage when the snow came down one fell swoop.
I also worry about people getting a load of snow.
They also cost about 3 times the price of asphalt here .
Yes I know they last 3 times a long as asphalt but when you go to sell the home they get no more money then if it was asphalt shingles .
Most people in this part of Canada move every 8 years .
Yes you need guards in my openion
