Default New (to me) pool heater
A pool inspection today had a heat pump for the pool heater. Seems like a great alternative to gas heating but it was a new one for me.

Since these are used in the warm shoulder seasons to warm pool water, the overall COP may be in the 4-5 region.....meaning you get the pool water heating for 1/5 - 1/4 of the cost of electricity.
