Default O'Hagin Vents

I made a bad call on a tile roof vent stating that is wasn't aligned properly with the hole in the sheathing. I was given a installation bulletin today from the roofer that I'll share so others don't make the same call.

"The placement of the secondary vent covers one tile to the right or left of the primary vent is acceptable under any weather conditions. The air from the attic is expelled from the primary vent under the tile and will use both the surrounding tiles and secondary vent(cover) as exit routes".

I hate it when they are right and I am wrong.

It happens. Thanks for sharing.

Could you post a picture and the brochure?
