I like it: thats more information than I thought possible in one article.
Rubberized asphalt: is actually a code requirement in Michigan on the bottom course, I think it is supposed to be 4', but everyone uses the 3' roll, and hence one row. A major disadvantage to rubberized asphalt is that it is near impossible to tear off without destroying the sheeting below. Several roofers i talk to say that they have taken to replacing the first row of sheeting every time they see it. |
