Hey the lathing package costs a lot of money... you gota save up for the rest...

My dad plastered a church years ago, when he arrived at the job, he noticed on the south side the D rated paper, which is normally black, was bleached white from the sun. He asked them how log ago the church was lathed, their answer 40 years prior! Amazingly the paper had held up and had no tears…

More likely the equivalent back then, and I was generalizing the exact paper.
