Default Support for Metal Chimneys

What are the requirements for metal chimney support (guy wires, bracing, etc.) Is this manufacturer specific, or are there code requirements?

Paul

The short answer is both, follow manufacturer's install instruction, and allways follow your local building codes and quite possibly fire code.No other guides supersede the BUILDING CODE.

I would suggest the same, but the order of magnitude might differ from my opinion of thought. What was just posted will undoubtedly work fine.
