None that I’ve ever seen…

Last one I did, (which looked just like this one) the agent had told them, “these roofs last forever, like 50 years or more, don’t worry about the roof”. Ha!. Pieces and parts laying on the ground, no problem. He told them to plan on having it power washed and treated. Can you imagine using a power washer on that roof? Maybe as a removal method.

Maybe when first installed, a shake roof was nearly defect free, since I don’t see any of them being installed in my neck of the woods, they are simply waiting to be replaced. Usually with heavy-weight concrete tile, but that’s another story.

I see one every three years or so, and just start laughing before I leave the the Truck.
