What is this vent for? I couldnt see this part of the attic.

Or is this not a vent?

Looks like a weather enclosure for an old Security System Bell / Siren.

I think you got it. The home is a 1965 built home with an alarm system.

I dont inspect alarm systems so there is no need to identify this in my report correct?
