Minor damage to Vinyl siding .
Take a piece of same siding cut of the cleat and put over hole and snap into place .
I did and it has been on for three years .

Nice trick Roy.
When I do repairs to siding be it v or double v vinyl or tin I use same method only smaller just enough to cover dint or hole by 2 inches both sides and caulk sparingly to hold in place..
