Wind rating of shingles

Anyone aware of wind rating of composition shingles, in particular 3 tab shingles.....especially Certainteed and OC..

Certainteed says:

Wind warranty coverage varies by specific product. Certainteed shingles are warranted to remain in place, undamaged, during the initial 5 or 10 year period after application, whether or not the sealant adheres, in winds ranging from 60 to 110 mph (depending upon the shingle) when Certainteed-approved installation methods have been followed.

3-tab usually 60-70 MPH, laminated 70-110 MPH depending on manufacturer and quality.

Depends on what part of the country you are in. In Florida they they have to be rated for a certain wind resistance depending which wind zone category you are in.
