Question Another Firewall Question?

What amount of blocking holes in a masonry wall with fiberglass is permitted?

If that insulation is filling exposed openings and that block wall is intended to be a firewall, then you've got breaches in the firewall.

The entire firewall (top to bottom) must be sealed with adequate fireproofing material between all separated dwellings.

Mortar between the block joints would also be necessary to maintain the rating.
This wall has no rating capacities at the moment.

Going back over the photo there is definelty not much mortar but also noticed that the rows have not been staggered.

David, look again, there is no Mortar and the blocks are stacked.
