Exclamation Frigdaire range gas leak

I have found that when you place the range gas burners on simmer, and open/close the oven door, it sucks out the flame and the gas continues to flow into the house. I have found this on the Frigidaire professional series and the Gallery series. These models do not have a re-ignite system. Any one else noticed this safety issue?

wow, good catch!

You really should notify the CPSC and the manufacturer.

Sounds like something's missing (protectiver barrier) between the stove-top burners and oven.

I have notified the cspc about the poblem, but they do not seem to be interested. Since posting the report, I have found 2 other gas fridigaire slide in ranges with the same problem.
