At least they didn't run the wire through the hinge mechanism.

Most of them I see don't have the nail in the bracket or the have a drywall screw.

What I love most about these is the varying reactions I get from buyers, sellers and / or Realtors when I inform them that these compromise the fire wall.

That wire was installed there just in case you fall, you can grab the wire to break your fall....

i like the little blocks of styrafoam over the nails. something tells me if you take them off you'll find little bits of someones scalp. (probably the guy who put them on)
