Please Note:
Robert Robson is a non-member guest and is in no way affiliated with InterNACHI or its members.
Many rooms such as bedrooms in a house that was constructed in the 40's had no drywall or plaster on the interior walls. There was only plywood paneling on the walls and acoustic drop ceiling. My gut is telling me to "call" this type contruction as a fire danger. Does my gut serve me right.

I would not call out such. Run across many homes with wood paneling through out, also many "summer" cottages that are all wood interiors also.
If it makes you feel better, recommend properly maintaining smoke detectors, with I would do regardless. John Springstead Home Inspections of USA 1752 N.E. Torch Lake Dr. Central Lake, MI 49622 1-231-544-8016 office 1-231-544-6001 fax www.homeinspectionsusa.us |
