I just thought this was cute...

nice house built 2007, owner in the process of finishing the basement. Heard sales agent commenting about nice unobstructed space. Picture is hard to make out, but it's the bottom 4 inches of a concrete filled lally that was cut off and someone has been using a cold chisel to try to extract the bottom piece. Nice open space. No building permit? Nice. Wrote it up nicely also.

Harry I would imagine if they didn't go to the effort to remove the entire column they dint go to the effort to add the necessary structure improvements.
