I spent two winters in Switzerland, and 1/2 a winter in Korea, being a quick study further lessons are not needed. Switz above 7000 ft was pretty dry though too.

Winter's aren't the issue here (at least for me). Occupied homes usually no different. Vacant homes are usually winterized. But cold, very cold.

Now Spring, during and just after the 'thaw'... that's when it get's fun around here. One gets to see just how good of a job the plumber (or someone who thinks they are) did Winterizing and de-Winterizing. That is just for staters...

This is from the same house a couple yrs. ago. First one in basement bath. Second is one of two exhaust buried in attic insulation.

And electronics don't perform very well below 25f. Especially cameras. Have to tuck mine into my jacket, only to pull it out, and the lens fogs over, Uggh!!!
