Default PVC manifold. Any ideas of what it's for?

I found this in a 16 year old home. I initially though an irrigation system for the yard, but found nothing outside that would confirm that.
Any ideas of what it may be?

Thanks.

Looks like its for hydronic radiant heat for (1) in house floors or rarely, ceilings or more likely, (2) melting snow and ice on the driveway

The seller contacted me today and told me it was for a geo-therm system that was taken out 7 years ago.

That's usually a really cheap heat. Wonder why they did not replace the unit?

I have never seen a ground source heat pump with manifold/header such as that. Maybe the system design was not professionally done and the efficiency/savings never achieved.
