If we are going to judge "stupid" from the front of a computer, maybe some of you should be issued signs to post on this message board...

I burn wood and re-lite my fire many times in the am when there is no heat or smoke, without a match.

People walk on hot coals because ash is such a good insulator.

Some people burn a fire twice a year and can easily think the fire is out.

More fires happen from idiots throwing Christmas wrappings into a fireplace and set an uncleaned flue ablaze!

How many of you have added charcoal lighter to the grill when it didn't take the first time?

It was a tragic accident from the mis-belief that the fire was out.
Do we need to splash your "Stupid" comments across the internet on this highly visible web site?

Joe- Are the people that go along with your view so "Stupid" that you must post the Definition of 'stupid'?

Here's your sign!

Intolerance is a horrible thing isn't it? Shame some must be so easily judgmental of others. Some of the most heinous crimes throughout history have come about from judgmental stereotypes and others intolerant behavior.

Good grief! Now I'm Hitler! This is getting ridiculous and childish. I'm SORRY if I offended anyone by saying without giving it much thought the word "stupid". Someone earlier suggested "foolish". Fine. Choose "foolish" or any synonym for "foolish" you wish, it doesn't matter to me. It's just semantics. Hey, call it whatever you want. Perhaps "Ill-advised" is better, less abrasive, kinder and gentler, as in "Honey, it's ill-advised to put that bucket of coals in the hallway. You might catch the dang house on fire!"

Synonyms for Foolish:
Absurd, asinine, brainless, cockamamy, crazy, daffy, daft, dippy, doltish, dotty, fantastic, fatuous, feebleminded, half-baked, half-witted, harebrained, ill-advised, ill-considered, imbecilic, imprudent, incautious, indiscreet, injudicious, insane, irrational, jerky, kooky, loony, ludicrous, lunatic, mad, moronic, nerdy, nutty, preposterous, ridiculous, senseless, short-sighted, silly, simple, stupid, unintelligent, unreasonable, unwise, wacky, weak, witless, zany.

I'm going to clean my fireplace now. Bye bye.

I'll leave it at that. Folks tend to not know when to hush up, when they should on here sometimes.
