Many times all that is needed on a 100 amp service is more breaker space.

The problem was this was a 3000 sq foot farm house including a 4 bedroom 1 bath 2nd floor addition with a 4 ton A/C, electric range, 80 gallon water heater, Insta-heat supplemental water heater, electric dryer, well pump, plus the typical small kitchen appliances including a dishwasher. Forgot about the whirlpool tub and the outdoor pool. Oh, yeah, there was a pump for the septic tank but the nameplate was not visible....

But no one would have known that without me mentioning it.

Looks like time for a Licensed Master to do a load calculation and most likely do a heavy up to the service.
