Can anyone tell me how-why all the AFCI receptacles in one bedroom showed reverse polarity, then when I Trip the AFCI at the panel using the button, all the AFCI receptacles showed proper-correct wiring BUT were still energized with the AFCI Tripped OFF, but they all had correct polaity, energized, with breaker OFF.
When I reset the Tripped AFCI, there was the Reverse Polarity again at all the receptacle in this bedroom, and the AFCI tripped normally using the button on the Breaker at the service distribution panel again. JJ from Fluke was there with a expensive Cam, it showed a couple degree difference and it was not a sandwiched breaker either, I got this job from one of JJ's friends, house was built in 2006.
