Default Aluminum

When you come across aluminum wire in a house, how extensive is your inspection.
Are you looking for proper connections, etc? Or just making the client aware of the concerns with aluminum wiring?

That other thread does point out why your SOP calls for visual inspection only. Screwing with aluminum wiring only increases the chance of failure. The old 1350 alloy was brittle and very easy to break.
