Default Aluminum wire

Can you have 2 neutral (aluminum wires ) under the same terminal in the main panel? I did an inspection today and this was the case. Older home, panel and wires looked fine.

The AL conductor is a much greater concern. Doubled up makes it just that much worse.

I assume you're referring to solid AL?

Lots of information regarding aluminum wires here.

Neutral wires carry current and industry standards do not allow more than one wire per terminal on the neutral bar in a panelboard.
