Default Aluminum wire and arc fault

Would a home with aluminum wire be safer with a new panel that included arc fault breakers on all 120 volt circuits? Is arc fault approved for aluminum?

Until they shake the bugs out of the "series" arc fault detector I am not sure how much protection it really is. Have they actually hit the street yet?
This is not the "combination" AFCI
