hello everyone
My question is can a Aluminum main service wire coming into the main service panel be spliced to copper so it can reach the lugs. I inspected a house this week that had this in the main service box. Do a search on the forum, there is very good information to start. You can also post a photo(s) and some members will take the time to comment.

You need a special lug that is for that application. Some of these lugs even require a special paste to prevent corrosion.
