Here's the situation:
Hall bath GFCI outlet protects the Master bath outlets. Using GFCI tester in the Master bath the GFCI outlet in the hall bath trips cutting off power to the master bath, BUT, there is still power at the "tripped" hall bath GFCI outlet. Using the tester and also the test button on the GFCI outlet in the hall bath the GFCI outlet trips but does not diconnect power. What's up with that? Wired wrong? Its more than likely wired back wards if its an older GFIC the new ones wont work at all if wired back wards.
