This is not my photo, I borrowed it from a colleague.
Is it true that, for this panel, the ungrounded conductors of a multi-wire circuit should not be connected to adjacent breakers 1-2 because they are on the same bus? I thought multi-wire ungrounded conductors of the same circuit should always be connected to adjacent breakers, with a tie-bar between the breakers |

Hard to see in the photo because the breakers are all black. Keep in mind that a pair of half sized breakers will contact the same bus, and adjacent full sized breakers will contact opposite busses. The two hot wires of a multi-wire circuits must originate from opposite busses.
