Default A classic...thanks Ideal Suretest

The whole main floor was bootlegged. Thanks to the Suretest 61-165 there was no chance of missing it.

No, just a standard 1950s metal wall box behind a wet plaster wall.

Just curious, what's the wiring method? Conduit?

Older NM sheathed (with exception of the newer NM-B going to the finished basement and bathroom/kithen). See pic of the top of the panel.

Also, any receptacles without the bootleg wire showed no continuity to ground.
