Default Correct was to test AFCI

Im seeing these breakers in Main panels.
As a Home Inspector, what is the correct
way to test these breakers ?

The only UL recognized method is the built-in test button.

If the house is occupied I don't test 'em. But I explain to the buyer how to test them and recommend they do it before they plug in all there stuff. I have started putting a reminder in the report to test 'em.
