Default Crouse-Hind panel

Are any breakers other than Crouse-Hinds legal in a C/H panel?
I've only run into one so far (yes, I'm new) and it had Cutler Hammers in it.

Funny you should have this question up..

I was in Home Depot the other day and heard the clerk telling someone "Murray, GE and Challenger are all interchangeable"...

I paused for a moment... waited until the people walked away from the clerk and let them know they should know what kind of panel they have before buying the breakers or since they were absolutely sure it was one of those to buy one of each and return the other two. Didn't feel like getting into it..
