The electric service for this home may have been a temporary service (while the contractor renovated the home), but death is permanent. I don't think you wanna be the one opening this hatch unknowingly. And how about how it's secured to the tree. I'm still shaking my head.

On a short term temporary basis I can accept the tree part but the other part is an accident waiting to happen.

I might agree with you to an extent, however, given the recent weather here in the northeast, heavy snow, ice storms, hurricanes, tornado touch downs, nothing is safe.
