Default Discoloration was caused by a lightning strike!

Posted: Mon, Jul 11th, 10:32 AM Post subject: Discoloration on copper wires in the main panel. We found a panel that the system grounds, the 240-volt grounds, and 120-volt neutrals are really discolored. It looks like it is from overheating with the coloring of the copper wires. I have seen a lot of panels with discoloration from oxidation, but I don't think this is just oxidation. The coloring is a couple shades of blue that looks like overheating, but with some of the darker discoloration typical to oxidation. If any one has seen this, please share your info.

Thanks Al

I tried to post the image as an attachment, it may have worked.
