The Department of Energy (DOE) has an electrical safety handbook that is free to the public for download and is approved for unlimited distribution.
This handbook presents the DOE safety standards for DOE field offices or facilities involved in the use of electrical energy. It is intended to enhance electrical safety awareness and lessen electrical hazards to employees, the public, and the environment.
