I recently did a inspection were the exterior meter and main disconnect was blocked by an Alberta Spruce tree. They wanted to know why I didnt open the panel.

First I didnt have a chain or pruning saw & secondly I didnt feel like getting zapped from snow entering the box.

By the way. The exterior gas meter was completly covered by another spruce tree and the inside water shutoff was buried under storage/paint and whatever else they could throw in the area under the steps.
