Default Frderal Pacific main panels

Are there any "safe" Federal Pacific boxes? I had a Realtor tell me today there are some that are ok, depending on the serial number. That is news to me.

It doesn't have anything to do with serial number...(at least I've never heard that either)

As to "safe", that is to be determined by a qualified electrical expert. Most of them that I have inspected, appeared to be operating properly. However I still have wording that encourages a more thorough and invasive inspection by an electrician.

The problematic type are the Stab-lok Load Centers. Anything else, is just another system.
