Default GFCI on AFCI circuits

I am not 100 % sure on this. Can the outside GFCI outlets be on the same circuit as the AFCI bedroom circuit?

Thanks everyone!!

I can't think of anything that prohibits it. Of course you'd need an AFCI breaker in the panel and a GFCI breaker-receptacle.

Although it's not required by the NEC to be AFCI protected it is permitted to be on an AFCI bedroom circuit.

Cool Re: GFCI on AFCI circuits

Ok, thanks!! It threw me for a loop. I would think as long as both trip when they are supposed to.
