Default GFCI receptacle trips...
...when I plug in the block heater for my tractor. What can cause this?

Any help appreciated.

Short answer is a bad block heater.

Thanks, Greg, I found what I think is the problem just now...a bad block heater plug.

Yes, I replaced it 3 times and it kept tripping. Time to install non-GFCI.
