I'm using an Ideal 61-059 Sure Test electrical system tester and for the first time have come across the "Hot on Neutral, with Hot Open" indicator. What exactly does that mean? Thanks.

I don't have one of those but deductive reasoning says:
Nothing connected to the small receptacle blade (black wire). Large blade (White wire) has 120V Ground ok. The tester can read voltage with no neutral by using the ground circuit.
