a little help from my friends

I removed the cover and voila !!!
Not sure what I am looking at. Looks a like a jct box.
Concerned about the yellow "clips" that connect the wires to the whacha ma callit thingy.
I remember a thread about the clips not being approved type/rating.
A little help from my friends would be appreciated.

The spade connectors are only feeding the relay coil. They will be fine.
What was this controlling?

a definite purpose contactor
the spade connectors should be 24 volt control wires
you will find them on A/C condensors, well pumps for irrigation etc...
