I took these pictures when the AFCI was not available yet. The termination of the equipment grounding conductor was loose, and the termination on the device was also loose, and under a load developed this condition. I know that we cannot see behind the plate on a receptacle, but this is a good example of what could be lurking behind it, and in the branch circuit run.

I also hear that eating can make you full.
