Missing Grommet at Furnace
There is no grommet or clamp where the furnace conductors enter the junction box within the furnace. I want to make sure that the NEC still applies to the wiring within the furnace. What is required to protect/secure the wires here?

Yes there should be a bushing there. I bet it was thrown away or lost by the installer
