Default murray = square D?

I've got a murray electrical panel that is full of square d breakers. I've got a comment when non manufacturer breakers are in a different panel, but since this one was full of them it made me question if they were perhaps the same outfit? Anyone know?

Mark, did you happen to check the internal label in the panel for acceptable substitutes ?

I doubt the companies are related (not sure, tho). Murray references back to Siemens on their site.

Mark, Linda is right, check that and I emailed to you a couple of attachments (too large to post here) that Paul A. posted before about "Classified" breakers. It does not appear that those Square D breakers are listed for Murray panelboards.

Thanks guys. I did not read the label on the panel. (Honestly even with contacts I can't read that small print anyway.)

I try to photograph, but sometimes hard to get a good pic because of flash, or not enough light. Be sure to take both ways.
