No...neutrals should never be doubled up...each under it's own lug.

![]() Here is a label from a fairly new panel. This is the only text concerning the neutral/ground bus on the label. It seems somewhat vague. I guess the current NEC (one neutral per hole) has the final word. I believe it is a pretty minor issue and I might only call it (doubled neutrals) out on a fairly new installation. I always weight the risk of the issue, and at the worst case I would have to pay an electrician $50 - $75 to correct it if it came back to me, verses losing inspection business for 'nit-picking'. I do not believe it poses a fire hazard. I already have a reputation as a nit picker (or as one realtor puts it "an anal SOB") anyway. IMHO |
