New construction home. Outlet located behind the gas meter. Am I correct in assuming since the electrical meter can not be above the gas meter that it is also incorrect to have a outlet behind gas meter?

As greg correctly stated, the NEC doe not really address this issue currently in the same manner it does with Meter Cabs and Service Equipment. Paul W.
