What year in Texas was it required to have a main disconnect at the main panel? Thanks
There is no requirement for a “main disconnect.” The NEC requires that power to a building be disconnected with six or less switches or breakers. If there are more than six, a single disconnect is required.
I can’t speak for Texas, but this has been an NEC requirement from at least the '50’s.
