Default Panel in laundry

Can a panel box be installed in a laundry room? The panel will be next to the dryer behind the entrance door. When the door is closed the panel will have all required clearances.

Doesn't seem like a problem from what you described as far as I know. Concerns are bathrooms and closets.

Behind a door is one of the best places for a panel since the door swing preserves the working space.

Agreed.......I don't have a problem either with the panel in the Laundry room. Usually in that case it is a "Remote Distribution Panel" so make sure all the other issues are taken care of...but as for location not a problem as greg stated.

Something to remember:

Panels are permitted in closets. They are not permitted in closets that may have easily ignitable materials. 240.24(D)
