Here's the UL Panelboard Marking Guide, 2004 edition.

How many of the items in this guide should be of concern to anyone who inspects a panel for safety when it is installed in a dwelling unit?

Here's something else that can be of some use.

Just ignore the section numbers and build an electrical checklist anyway you want.
