Found this in an Attic yesterday. Installed in 2000, nothing on the label about being "IC" Rated. Does anyone know from experience. It guessing it's not but it's just a guess!

You can often find that information by pulling the trim down, removing the lamp and looking at the label inside the fixture (if it has not been spray painted into oblivion). Some, however, will say that doing that would be outside the SOP. In that case, all you can say is that you could not determine if the fixture is IC related and recommend removal of the insulation or evaluation by a licensed electrician.
